Victoria is a Graduate Sports Therapist from the University of Essex. She became a member of the Swindon Chiropractic Clinical Team in August of 2018. Prior to this, she had provided Sports Therapy services to The Swindon Rugby Club and completed observational work experience at the NHS GWH Physiotherapy Department. She has also provided post-event treatment to athletes at various sports events, including the London Marathon. Victoria has always had a keen interest in sport, after joining a trampolining club and witnessing several injuries, she became intrigued by the treatment and rehabilitation process. Since then, she has developed a passion for helping patients from all walks of life and thoroughly enjoys the rewards of rehabilitating patients back to optimal levels of fitness.
Victoria is First Aid Trained and is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists. She combines Sport and Exercise principles with Biomechanical movement patterns in order to rehabilitate an injury and prevent its’ reoccurrence. She is trained in and utilises a wide variety of Manual Therapy Techniques, such as Massage, Joint Mobilisation, Taping and Electrotherapy. In addition, she creates Rehabilitation Programmes that are tailored specifically to the individual, aiding in the patient’s recovery from a multitude of musculoskeletal conditions/injuries.
